RESIDENTIAL & MIXED-USE
The Cabramatta East Precinct mixed-use development comprises some 550 residential apartments, 1,600sqm commercial Gross Floor Area (GFA), 8,500sqm retail GFA and four basement parking levels with 800 car spaces and loading dock facilities. PDC Consultants was engaged to prepare a Traffic Impact Assessment (TIA) report for the planning proposal and subsequent Development Application (DA). The TIA included SIDRA Intersection traffic modelling of nine intersections in the vicinity of the site and extensive consultation with Transport for NSW (TfNSW) and Fairfield Council, particularly regarding an upgrade to Cabramatta Road East state road to facilitate the development site access.
The Macquarie Prime development comprises some 680 residential apartments, 2,500sqm retail Gross Floor Area, a new public road and four basement parking levels with 700 car spaces. PDC Consultants’ Director was engaged to prepare a Traffic Impact Assessment (TIA) report, Loading Dock Management Plan (LDMP) and Green Travel Plan (GTP) for the Development Application (DA). The TIA included consideration of Council’s Macquarie Park Corridor Growth Paramics microsimulation traffic model and SIDRA Intersection traffic modelling of nearby intersections.
The Northern Beaches Nest is a boarding house development comprising 75 boarding rooms and two basement parking levels with some 40 car spaces. PDC Consultants was engaged to prepare a Traffic & Parking Impact Assessment (TPIA) report for the Development Application (DA). The TPIA report included collection of traffic survey data and SIDRA Intersection traffic modelling of nearby intersections, and consultation with Transport for NSW (TfNSW) particularly regarding the design of the site access onto Sydney Road.
