PAUL CORBETT
DIRECTOR
Paul is the Director of PDC Consultants and has more than 10 years’ experience in the areas of traffic engineering and transport planning. Paul has been involved in a substantial number of development and infrastructure projects throughout NSW and Australia, for both private developers and Government agencies. This experience, and the relationships he has developed across these sectors, allows Paul to provide strategic and specialist advice on transport planning projects to ensure the best possible outcome is achieved.
Paul also has extensive experience as an Expert Witness in the NSW Land & Environment Court and acts on behalf of both private developers and Local Councils.
BEN MIDGLEY
PRINCIPAL TRAFFIC ENGINEER
Ben is a Chartered (CPEng) Civil Engineer with over nine years’ experience in the traffic engineering and transport planning industry since receiving his Masters in Civil Engineering in 2012.
Having worked for a range of public sector clients including Transport for New South Wales and the Department of Planning, Industry and Environment, he has developed his experience on a variety of major projects and redevelopments, including the Easing Sydney’s Congestion Program and all stages of WestConnex. Ben has also worked closely with private developers, leading the traffic and transport analysis of large mixed-use developments across Sydney for submission to Council and Government agencies.
Ben is an effective communicator of complex, technical assessments and has demonstrable experience and training across traffic engineering and transport planning, most notably in Traffic Impact Assessments making use of intersection and microsimulation traffic analysis tools such as VISSIM, SIDRA and LinSig.
